The product has not been evaluated by FDA however. The instructions indicate drinking the tea 15-30 minutes before meals which has been known to help reduce appetite or as needed throughout the day when your hunger cravings may be strongest. The bags are to be steeped for 5-7 minutes before drinking. It suggests you can also drink this tea over ice, which I have not yet tried but definitely will when the warmer weather comes.
